Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. It’s a pleasure to virtually meet you! I aim to provide a positive, confidential, and safe environment for my clients. I trust that my clients are able to engage in the necessary work that will promote lasting changes when they are in a safe and secure environment. I cherish being a part of my client’s support system, and being an ally through their therapeutic journey. My area of expertise is in childhood and adult trauma, more so with victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, community violence, and race based trauma. I also have expertise with anxious and depressive moods.
Collaboratively, you will work toward becoming resilient. We will develop your own toolkit that will assist you with gaining control and overcoming your circumstances. You will develop the essential knowledge that may be linked to your adversities. We will work toward increasing your abilities to regulate your emotions in the most healthiest and appropriate way. You will incorporate learned relaxational strategies. Together, we will focus on confronting and alleviating unhelpful thoughts. We will work toward highlighting your strengths, find effective ways to utilize your strengths, and work every step toward achieving your therapeutic goals.
In my four years of clinical experience I have developed a counseling approach that consist of but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy.

I speak English and Spanish. I graduated from Bethune Cookman University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling. I was born in Dominican Republic and raised in Homestead, Florida. When I’m not working I enjoy boxing and dancing Bachata/Merengue/Salsa.
